RiSoTriene Life Solubles (updated 2-2-10) - a form of stabilized rice bran is a terrific source for natural antioxidants. The rice bran was never sold in the stores due to rapid deterioration but it has always been the most nutritious part of the rice grain.

RiSoTriene came out in the 1990's and I believe was the first commercial product being sold for several years. Many other brands of the stabilized rice bran began showing up but they seem kind of bland compared to RiSoTriene.

This particular product was created with a step at the end of the processing that makes it a higher quality and a better tasting product. The active nutrients of the bran remain active for a longer period of time.

What does RiSoTriene Taste Like?

RiSoTriene Life Solubles is a food product that tastes slightly sweet and nutty. Some say like graham cracker crumbs but I think it's taste is pretty unique and I can't say it tastes like anything else I've eaten - but it's good!

The majority of people consider it very tasty. It can be mixed with water or juice. It can be sprinkled over yogurt, breakfast cereal or eaten by the spoonful. I add it to my breakfast drink and to various recipes.

It's pretty concentrated so not much is required. I don't use the amount recommended on the container. I use about half the recommended serving but it's something each person should evaluate for themselves.

There are many other stabilized rice bran products on the market. I have tried others and didn't like the taste or didn't think too highly of them after using the products for a month at a time.

I suggest you try RiSoTriene Life Solubles because it seems to be the best but if you like to test products, you might try some others.
