Dry Chia Seeds
Best to Eat Morning or Evening?

Im going to start taking Chia seeds dry with water or juice once a day....now can you pls tell me if its best to take it in the morning or evening?

Thanks for asking your question. I prefer to take chia seeds as a food in the morning. This gives me a long lasting energy boost. I don't seem to need any more chia the rest of the day as a food.

It's important to drink water throughout the day since chia seeds like to absorb it. You might drink a glass of water about 30 minutes before eating the chia which will provide more water within your digestive system. Then you can drink a little less with the chia when you eat it which can be better for your digestion according to my research. Here's a quote from my Mini Chia e-Book Series on Chia Seed Digestion, soon to be released.

"When drinking more than 8 oz of water during a meal or soon after will dilute the hydrochloric acid (HCL) in your stomach temporarily. Then the dilution of HCL and the food still being in the stomach to be digested causes an increase in the HCL which can cause acid reflux where acid backs up the esophagus."
