Chocolate Delight
A Healthy Chocolate Recipe

For our healthy chocolate delight recipe, just make it "light". Add Goat Whey Minerals to the basic Cacao Nibs Recipe which will increase the calcium and potassium giving the mixture a lighter color with less acid - less dark chocolatie taste. It will turn our basic healthy chocolate treat into a true delight, but you have to experiment to make it just right for you!

Three Variations for Chocolate Delight

Depending on your preference, you can choose from these three variations:

  • Slightly Light
  • Medium Light
  • Light

You'll be using our basic cacao nibs recipe while adding or subtracting ingredients to design the best chocolate treats that match your own personal tastes.

For each recipe:

  1. Go to Cacao Nibs Recipe.

  2. Under the section, "Our Cacao Nibs Basic Recipe - Basic Ingredients" - you'll be modifying the third ingredient, "9 Tbsp Raw Certified Mesquite Powder - set aside 6 Tbsp for blending later."

  3. Select the "Slightly Light" - "Medium Light" or - "Light" and plug in the new information you will be using.

  4. You'll be using the modification in the "Last Step" on our Blending Nibs Ingredients - Final Steps page.

Important Facts about Chocolate and Minerals

In using Goat Whey Minerals, you should be aware that you will be adjusting the magnesium, calcium and potassium ratios of the chocolate treat. Chocolate is very high in magnesium and low in calcium and potassium. These adjustments can affect taste as well as how a body responds to the variations of mineral ratios.

The cacao bean tends to be somewhat acidic (some more so than others) and the calcium and potassium are alkaline minerals which can help balance the acid if needed. Some people need this, others may not. I switch back and forth between my various healthy chocolate treats and it works fine for me. I need extra calcium and potassium sometimes with my chocolate but not all the time.

You may experience positive or negative affects, like being more relaxed, having more energy, reduction or elimination of muscle spasms or cramps. Or on the negative side, when out of balance, the opposite may occur.

The problem with "balance" is not the same from person to person and it can change from day to day, week to week, or month to month depending on particular living experiences.

The recipes we create are always designed to have an uplifting result. The only way we accomplish this is to observe the effects we create and do better the next time. I hope I've given you enough information to help you along.
