Can I Add Chia (not gel)
to My Morning Shake?

hi I just purchased chia seeds at health food store, id like to add to my morning shake can i just put the seed right into the drink? Or do i have to make into the gel first as youu suggested here

Hi,

Thanks for asking. Yes you can just add the chia to your drink. You can add them before you blend your shake or after.

When you add them dry, it's good to drink an 8 oz glass of water about 30 minutes before you drink your shake. This way, you'll have some water available for your chia during digestion. These little chia love water.

Also be sure to drink more water throughout the day if you don't normally drink too much water.
